Role/Position: Financial Planner
In the workplace, I am interested and motivated to provide holistic advice to clients to achieve financial security and personal wellbeing. This includes working with clients to provide direction and strategies to achieve their goals and ultimate retirement plans.
My working life has been in a variety of roles over the years first completing a 3 yr general nursing qualification at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1988, then accounting in a local practice in Roma, rural farm business and in the last 6 yrs full-time financial planning which draws on all the experiences and skills gained over the years.
My professional qualifications include 3 yrs nursing registration, accounting degree in 1990 and then professional study with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and CPA’s, plus a graduate Diploma of FP. Currently finalising my certified financial planning (CFP) qualification.
Outside of Work
I value and enjoy my time at home with my husband Patrick and 5 children when they are home and also the times I can spend in the outdoors and in particular in the garden creating a harmonious space.
I enjoy supporting local organisations and have a special interest at present in the Roma Triathlon and Roma Eisteddfod.
